Raw Plantain Red Cow Pea Stir Fry recipe in Hindi | Vazhakka Vanpayar Thoran recipe in Hindi

With vegetable and protein together, this is a very nutritious dish.
Raw Plantain 2 nos.
Red Cow Pea ½ cup
Onion 1 no.
Garlic 4 cloves
Green chilli 1 no.
Curry leaves
Coconut 4 tbsp
Mustard seeds ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Red Chilli powder ¾ tsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Peel the raw plantain. Wash them. Cop them fine. Finely chop the onion, garlic and green chilli. Soak the red cow pea for 6 hours. Wash them. Cook them in a pressure cooker with a little water. Heat a pan. Add 2 tbsp oil. Add the mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped garlic and green chilli. Once the garlic is well sauted, add the chopped onion. Add the curry leaves. Once the onion is well sauted, add the chopped raw plantain. Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ¾ tsp red chilli powder. Mix well. Add ¼ cup water. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Once the raw plantain is cooked, add the cooked red cow pea. Add salt. Add the grated coconut. Mix well. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes. Dry it a bit. Deflame. Serve with rice or chapatti.
